LANCASTER, Pa.- The Atlantic East Conference continued to give out their academic accolades on Friday afternoon as they announced the Atlantic East All-Academic Team. After earning 10 of the Atlantic East Team Academic Awards over the 2018-19 academic year, the Mighty Macs had more than two-thirds of their athletes, 160 total, named to the Atlantic East All-Academic Team.
The 160 student-athletes is second most in the Atlantic East to Marywood, but the 67.7% is the highest among member institutions.
Director of Athletics and Recreation
Janelle Cronmiller said, "We could not be more proud as an institution of our student-athletes for earning a place on the Atlantic East All-Academic Team. It shows a dedication to their academic pursuits while being competitive within their sport. We want to thank the executive administration, faculty and the entire university for their tremendous support in this shared accomplishment."
In order to be named to the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete had to maintain a 3.20 grade point average for the entire academic year. The student-athlete must use a season eligibility and earn a varsity letter in the respective sport.
