Below is a list of positions the Sports Information office looks to fill during both the Fall and Spring semesters. Hours are determined by the varsity sports schedule and needs of each position. Some hours are also available over academic breaks (Fall, Winter, Spring, etc.). Also, office hours can possibly be offered depending upon the workload and position of focus.

No experience is necessary, but strong vocal talent, a definitive personality and comfort speaking in front of large crowds is important.
Broadcasting: Student Assistants on the broadcast team must; remain focused while providing a professional production of Immaculata’s athletic events live online, be able to communicate well with teammates, and be available before, during, and after broadcasted events for setup, breakdown, and operation of broadcasting equipment. Applicants do not need any prior knowledge or experience in broadcasting, directing, or camera operation, however hired student assistants must be willing and able to learn/improve upon the techniques and skills necessary to work in these positions. Broadcasting assistants will be trained in how to operate the equipment including, but not limited to, camera operation and directing through the computer software. Setup for covering athletic events usually occurs 1 hour before the start of the game, while breakdown usually completes 15 minutes after the completion of the contest.
Photography: Student Assistants on the photography team must have prior experience in sports photography. A camera will be provided by the sports information office, however, you may provide your own camera as well. Student assistants will be working together with the sports information office to capture action photos of Immaculata’s athletes, coaches, staff, etc. at all home contests for the 24 varsity teams. Other opportunities for work-study hours include covering away games, various athletics-related events on or around campus, and office work sorting, editing, tagging, and archiving photos throughout the school year.
