The Open Door Athletic Training Facility located on the first floor of Alumnae Hall is the primary athletic training room at Immaculata University. It was designed and opened in August 2012 to accommodate the needs of over 200 Mighty Mac athletes. The facility also serves as a learning environment for Immaculata’s Athletic Training undergraduate program.

The athletic training facility contains separate areas for treatment, rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and taping, as well as five offices and two classrooms. Several mobile modality units are moved around the eight treatment tables for convenient use. The facility is also equipped with machines available for strength testing and rehabilitation of various injuries. The training room has two stationary bikes (one recumbent and one upright), an upper body ergometer (UBE), Total Body Gym, treadmill and elliptical. Other rehabilitation tools include Theraband and tubing, dumbbell and cuff weights, Swiss balls, BOSUs, foam rolls, kettle bells and trampoline rebounder with medicine balls.

One of the highlighted areas in the Athletic Training Facility is the hydrotherapy room. This room is separated from the rest of the treatment area by a wall of windows to allow for adequate supervision of hydrotherapy treatments while reducing the noise level to the remainder of the facility. The hydrotherapy room contains three full-body whirlpools, two extremity whirlpools, a hydroculator with heat packs and racks, an ice machine and a freezer.
