Vision Statement

It is the vision of the Immaculata University Athletic Training Department to provide all student-athletes with the finest health care system obtainable. We will aim to maintain the leading edge of knowledge and practices providing the most aggressive yet safe approaches to athlete health care.

Mission Statement

The Immaculata University Athletic Training Department provides traditional athletic training services to the student-athletes of Immaculata University. These services provided to the student-athlete include:

1. Prevention of injuries.
2. Recognition, evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses.
3. Rehabilitation and reconditioning of injuries.
4. Health and wellness education.

Our goal is to provide the student athletes at Immaculata with the best possible health care and knowledge available. In providing these services, the Immaculata University Athletic Training staff will aim to utilize the most efficient and current technologies, including the best equipment available. In addition, we plan to offer a health care system that is proactive in approach, reduces the risk of athletic injury and facilitates injured student-athletes' safe return to participation as soon as possible.

We value the needs of the student athlete and will always be supportive for all members of the athletic training staff. Immaculata University's Athletic Training Department strives to be a program of distinguished excellence in sports medicine. We will act upon the recommendations and guidelines as established by the NCAA Sports Medicine Committee, the Atlantic East Conference and the National Athletic Trainers Association.
