IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata Director of Athletics and Recreation Paul Murphy has announced the hiring of Caitlyn Garr as the head coach for the women's lacrosse program.

"We are excited to welcome Caitlyn to Immaculata," Murphy said. "Her passion for player development, championship experience, and commitment to helping student-athletes grow on and off-the-field make her an exciting addition to our athletic department."

Garr comes to Immaculata with a background in coaching the Headstrong PA Girls Club. There, she developed and executed detailed individual player evaluations, managed team-wide communications and tournament scheduling, and coached her team to two tournament championships. She also designed and implemented a comprehensive team playbook.

"I want to express my deepest thanks to Athletic Director Paul Murphy and the administration for believing in my vision and giving me the opportunity to lead the women's lacrosse program at Immaculata," Garr said. "My goal is to foster an environment where every player is challenged to elevate their game, push their limits, and compete with confidence. I can't wait to get to work with this group and write the next chapter of Mighty Macs lacrosse. Roll Macs!"

Garr earned a certificate of completion from the Icon Collective College of Music in Burbank, Calif. in 2021.
