Women's Lacrosse Earns Two All-AEC Selections

HADDONFIELD, N.J. – Immaculata women's lacrosse saw two student-athletes named to the All-Atlantic East Conference list, as announced by the conference office on Thursday.

The Mighty Macs were represented by Elizabeth Mahmud, who received a First Team nod, and Keira Benoit, who made the Second Team.

Mahmud joined Immaculata in 2026 after playing her first two collegiate seasons at Saint Francis University (Division I). Starting all 18 games, Mahmud cashed in on 53 goals and dished out seven assists. On the defensive side, she scooped up 50 ground balls and caused 35 turnovers. She won 94 draw controls as well. Mahmud's season-high in scoring was seven goals against Notre Dame of Maryland on March 30.

Benoit joined the team in mid-March following the conclusion of women's basketball. In 11 starts in as many contests, she made a difference with 20 goals and 12 assists. Defensively, she had 22 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers. In the circle, Benoit won 31 draw controls. Her best game of her freshman year was on April 18 versus Centenary (N.J.), getting by the goalie four times.

Immaculata women's lacrosse completed their 2026 campaign at 6-12 (2-3 AEC).

Mahmud is a Downingtown, Pa. native. Benoit hails from Wilmington, Del.
