GREENWOOD, Ind.- College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their Academic All-District Teams for Softball in 2025.
Rylee Martin,
Emma Mercadante, and
Jess Oldham were selected from Immaculata University for this year's team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
To be eligible for selections student athletes must be at least a sophomore, have a 3.5 or greater cumulative GPA, and have played in 90% or started in 66% of their team's games. Pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
Rylee Martin (Dillsburg, Pa. / Northern York) played and started in all 40 games for Immaculata batting .265 with two home runs and 23 RBIs. She was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference First Team.
Emma Mercadante (Midland Park, N.J. / Midland Park) appeared in 20 games with 17 starts. She was 6-12, with 13 complete games, in 106.2 innings pitched she had 44 strikeouts. Mercadante finishes her career with 157 strikeouts, the seventh most in program history.
Jess Oldham (Wilmington, DE / AI Dupont) played in 39 games starting 38. She batted a team-high .445, with team highs in hits with 57, home runs with seven, and RBIs with 51. Her 51 RBIs were a program single season record. She was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference First Team.
