Softball Wins Two Awards and Eight Players Earn All-Conference Honors

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Atlantic East Conference announced their Softball Yearly Awards and All-Conference Teams on Wednesday. Immaculata won two awards, and eight players earned all-conference honors.
 
Lily Hagan (Egg Harbor Township / Holy Spirit) won the AEC's Elite 20 Award. The Elite 20 Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA competing at the finals site in each of the Atlantic East's 20 team championships. The student athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and in his or her second year of competition at their current institution in any sport.
 
Bryele Anthony (Chatham, N.J / Shawnee) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference First Team. Anthony batted .353, with 37 runs scored, 16 RBIs, with a program single season record 39 stolen bases. Anthony concludes her IU career with 176 career hits, and a program career record 107 stolen bases. She stole her 100th career base at Marywood on April 27th.
 
Rylee Martin (Dillsburg, Pa. / Northern York) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference First Team. Martin batted .265, with 16 runs scored, seven doubles, two home runs, and 23 RBIs. Set an IU single season program record for hit-by-pitch with 11 this season. Martin had an RBI double during the seventh inning rally vs Marymount in the AEC Tournament that put Immaculata into the AEC Finals. She went 3-4 with a home run and four RBIs vs Penn State Abington on March 18th.
 
Jess Oldham (Wilmington, DE / AI Dupont) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference First Team. Oldham batted .445, with 26 runs scored, 13 doubles, seven home runs, and a program single season record 51 RBIs. Her 51 RBIs led the AEC this season and is the highest single season total in AEC history (2019 - present). Oldham set an IU single game record with three home runs in a game vs Penn State Abington on March 18th.
 
Maddy Formica (Gibbstown, N.J. / GCIT) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference Second Team. She batted .345, with 26 runs scored, 15 RBIs, and 13 stolen bases. Formica went 1-3, with two runs scored, and had five RBIs in the win at Widener on April 10th.
 
Allison Hill (West Chester, Pa. / West Chester East) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference Second Team. Hill batted .300, with seven runs scored, six doubles, and 15 RBIs. Hill went 3-3, with two doubles and three RBIs in Immaculata's win at Marymount in the first game of the doubleheader sweep at Marymount on March 29th. Hill also made multiple outstanding plays in the field this season.
 
Carlee Karcher (Maple Shade, N.J. / Camden Catholic) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference Second Team. Karcher batted .348, with 16 runs scored, nine doubles, three triples, three home runs, and 17 RBIs. Karcher went 2-2, with two RBIs and an inside-the-park home run in the win at Widener on April 10th. She had a three RBI game at Rutgers-Newark on March 26th.
 
Steph Kelly (Stratford, N.J. / Sterling) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference Second Team. She batted .292, with 19 runs scored, two RBIs, and stole eight bases. Started a career-high 25 games. Kelly had six multiple hit games for Immaculata.
 
Riece Onorato (Cinnaminson, N.J. / Cinnaminson) was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference Second Team. Onorata was 9-7, with a 3.56 ERA in 19 appearances, with 17 starts. She had 13 complete games and had two shutouts. In 108 innings pitched, Onorato had 54 strikeouts. Onorato threw shutouts in back-to-back starts vs Widener on April 10th, and Centenary on April 14th. She had a season high of 10 strikeouts vs Franciscan on March 14th.
 
The Immaculata coaching staff of Head Coach Stefanie Feinstein, and Assistant Coaches Stephen Elinski and Kaitlyn Delaney were named AEC Coaching Staff of the Year.
