2025 Immaculata Softball Season Recap

SEASON OVERVIEW

The Immaculata Softball team led by fourth year Head Coach Stefani Feinstein produced a 5-5 record in Atlantic East Conference play, and they were 16-24 overall for the 2025 season. Immaculata entered the season after being voted tied for last in the AEC Pre-Season Coach's Poll. With a strong core of returning players, and an influx of talented first-year players, the Mighty Macs had a break-out season earning the third seed in the Atlantic East Conference Tournament. This was the Mighty Macs first appearance in the AEC Tournament since 2022.

In the AEC Tournament, Immaculata avenged a pair of losses to Marywood on the final weekend of the regular season, defeating the Pacers 3-2 in eight innings. Bryele Anthony gave the Mighty Macs the lead on an RBI single to right field to score Kate Daly. After the rain delayed their second game, Immaculata advanced to the AEC Finals defeating Marymount 4-2 in their second-round game. Immaculata scored all four of their runs in the top of the seventh inning, and Rylee Martin, Emma Pinto, and Bryele Anthony all drove in runs. Immaculata closed out the win in the bottom of the seventh when catcher Emma Pinto made an incredible diving catch on a foul pop up for the final out. This was Immaculata's first appearnce in a conference final since 2018 in the CSAC.

Due to inclement weather, the finals needed to be delayed until the following weekend, with both teams returning to Winchester, Virginia to play. Immaculata fell to Marymount in both games, finishing as the AEC Runner Up.
