HEAD COACH WILL PILAT ON THEIR SEMIFINA WIN AND THE AEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

"It felt great to have a dominant performance in our conference semifinal," stated Head Coach Will Pilat. "Jumping out to a huge lead early in the game really helped us gain momentum and confidence moving into the finals. We had a lot of great performances especially from our face-off unit to maximize our offensive opportunities."

"We are honored and excited to have earned the opportunity to host the AEC championship game for the first time as a program," continued Pilat. "I know the environment will be an exciting venue at beautiful Draper Walsh Stadium. I know our seniors are excited to have one additional home game this season for the championship game."

When asked what his team will need to do to be successful against Marymount Pilat replied "For us to be successful against Marymount will not be easy, they are a quality opponent who have some very capable and dangerous players on the offensive end. As always groundballs tell the story of the game, I think for this game specifically on the defensive end for both teams. Whoever can earn more groundballs and win the riding/clearing game will be in a great position to be the AEC Champions."
"It has been an historic season. We are thankful for everyone who has supported our program this year, our parents' group specifically has been fantastic," concluded Pilat. "I want to thank my coaches for all their hard work, and especially our senior class who has broken multiple records this year. Having a 13-win season is so amazing for us already and we are looking for win #14!"
