PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA) announced its All-Area Academic Men's Lacrosse Team on Tuesday. Immaculata goalkeeper Matthew Ludlow (Willow Grove, Pa. / Upper Moreland) was one of 11 student-athletes from eight different schools named to the team.

The team is selected through nominations and voting by the sports information offices from 30 institutions in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. To be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, athletes must be at least in their second year with their program and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better. 

Ludlow had an outstanding season, earning the 2026 Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Year and his fourth consecutive All-Atlantic East Conference First Team selection. Ludlow finished tied for first in the nation in Division III men's lacrosse for save percentage at .653, earning the first National Statistical Championship in program history. Ludlow led the Mighty Macs to a second consecutive Atlantic East Conference Championship Game appearance, setting a program record for saves in a single season with 260.

Ludlow concludes his Immaculata career as the program's all-time leader in career saves with 976.
