Matthew Ludlow Captures NCAA Statistical Championship, Makes Program History

IMMACULATA, Pa. - Senior goalkeeper Matthew Ludlow (Willow Grove, Pa. / Upper Moreland) finished tied for first in NCAA Division III with a remarkable .653 save percentage, becoming the first student-athlete in program history to earn an NCAA Statistical Championship.

Ludlow's national-leading performance capped off one of the most accomplished careers ever by an Immaculata men's lacrosse player. Over four seasons, he established himself as the program's all-time leader in saves, recording an astounding 976 career saves while serving as the backbone of the Mighty Macs' defense, helping to lead Immaculata to its first Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025. 

His senior campaign was filled with individual and team success. Ludlow helped guide the Immaculata Mighty Macs Men's Lacrosse team to a second consecutive Atlantic East Conference Championship Game appearance, continuing the program's rise as a conference contender. For his outstanding play, he was named the Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Year and earned First Team All-Atlantic East Conference honors for the fourth straight season.

Known for his consistency, leadership, and ability to make game-changing saves, Ludlow leaves Immaculata as one of the most decorated players in program history. His NCAA Statistical Championship is a fitting culmination of a career defined by excellence and dedication to the Mighty Macs.

As he closes the chapter on an unforgettable collegiate career, Ludlow's achievements will stand as a benchmark for future generations of Immaculata men's lacrosse players.
