SEASON OVERVIEW

The Immaculata women's basketball team had an historic 2024-25 season earning 22 wins, to set an IU program record for wins in a season in the NCAA era (1982 to present) of the program. The Mighty Macs went 22-4 overall, boasting a 10-0 in Atlantic East Conference regular season play, captured their second Atlantic East Conference Championship, and made their second NCAA Tournament appearance. The 2024-25 team became the first Immaculata women's basketball team to win 20 games since the 1976-77 season, when the team went to the Final Four.

The 2024-25 season saw Immaculata go undefeated at home with a 14-0 record at Alumnae Hall. After suffering their third loss of the season at Arcadia on December 14
th, Immaculata went on a 15-game win streak that culminated with winning the AEC Championship game for their 15
th consecutive win. Immaculata captured their first Atlantic East Conference Regular Season title to earn the first seed, and secure home court advantage in the AEC Tournament.

Immaculata defeated Marywood 69-48 in the AEC Semifinals on February 26
th, setting up a match-up with local rival Neumann, who had ended Immaculata's 2024 season in the AEC Semifinals. Immaculata defeated Neumann 63-46 in the AEC Championship Game in front of a packed house at Alumnae Hall on March 1
st to capture their second Atlantic East Conference Championship in four years.

Immaculata earned the Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Immaculata fell to host No. 16/18 Ohio Wesleyan in the First Round at the Branch Rickey Arena in Delaware, Ohio.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Reese Mullins earned her first conference award as the AEC Player of the Year and earned all-conference honors for the third consecutive season. Mullins finished third in the AEC in scoring with392 points, averaging 15.1 points per game. Mullins became the 26ht player in Immaculata women's basketball program history to reach the 1000-point mark on January 3rd vs Misericordia and grabbed her 500th career rebound vs Neumann on February 5th. Mullins bookends her IU career with AEC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in her freshman and senior years.
- Tessa Liberatoscioli earned her second consecutive AEC Defensive Player of the Year award, earning all-conference honors for a second consecutive season. She led the AEC in steals for a second consecutive season with 89, averaging a conference best 3.4 steals per game. She tied her own program record for steals in a game with eight vs Misericordia on January 3rd. She averaged 9.8 points per game and scored a career high 23 points vs Misericordia on January 3rd. Liberatoscioli has been a member of both AEC Championship teams and finished her career with a second NCAA Tournament appearance.
- Abigail Boyer earned her first All-Conference honor in 2024-25 and was named AEC Player of the Week two times during the season. Boyer averaged 9.5 points per game, and shot 37.3% from the field, and 33% from behind the arc. Boyer was named the AEC's Elite 20 Award for having the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site. She made her 100th career three-pointer in their win over Centenary on January 18th. Boyer tied her career high scoring 24 points in the team's come from behind win at Marymount on February 1st. Boyer bookends her IU career with AEC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in her freshman and senior years.
- Carly Coleman earned AEC Rookie of the Year, and All-Conference honors in her freshmen year. Coleman registered nine double-doubles, averaging 10.4 points per game, and 8.8 rebounds per game. Coleman scored in double figures in each of the last four games for Immaculata including 13 points in the AEC Championship Game vs Neumann and 10 points in the NCAA Tournament game at Ohio Wesleyan.
- Olivia Ettorre stepped up into a starting role in her junior year, starting in 25 out 26 games for Immaculata. Ettorre averaged 7.6 points per game this season, with 67 rebounds, 33 assists, 23 blocked shots, and had 18 steals. Scored 11 points shooting 3-7 from behind the arc, with two blocked shots in the AEC Semifinals vs Marywood. Led all-scorers with 14 points shooting 5-9 from the field, 3-4 from behind the arc, with four rebounds, four blocked shots, and two steals in Immaculata's Championship Game win over Neumann to earn AEC Tournament MVP Honors.Â
- Alyssa Long averaged 2.5 PPG, with 72 assists, 82 rebounds, nine blocked shots, and 42 steals. Provided energy and a veteran presence off the bench for the Mighty Macs playing tenacious defense. Scored a season high of eight points in the semifinal win over Marywood and scored seven points in the Championship Game vs Neumann. The former UNC Division I lacrosse All-American brought big game experience and leadership to the Mighty Macs in 2024-25.Â
- Riley Cassidy had a strong first season with Immaculata averaging 7.8 PPG, shooting 41% (71-173) from the field, and 36% (27-75) from behind the arc, and 75.0% from the free throw line. She has 62 rebounds, 22 assists, three blocked shots, and 12 steals. Scored a career best 21 points vs Marywood on February 18. Scored eight points, with five rebounds, and a blocked shot in the Championship Game win over Neumann.
- Meg Robbins played a vital role off the bench for Immaculata appearing in all 26 games. She averaged 4.1 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. She scored season-high 11 points vs Keystone on November 23rd. She had a season-high nine rebounds vs Haverford on November 13th. Scored four points and had three rebounds vs Ohio Wesleyan in the NCAA Tournament game.
