PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (PHILLY-SIDA) announced its 2025-26 All-Area Academic Women's Basketball Team on Wednesday afternoon, and Immaculata sophomore
Carly Coleman (Springfield, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara) was named to the five-member team.
The team is selected through nominations and voting by the sports information offices from 30-plus institutions at the Division One, Two, and Three levels in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. To be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, athletes must be at least in their second year with their program and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better. The Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area program is now in its 21st season.
Coleman was the 2025-26 Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year and the Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Coleman scored 486 points, averaging 17.4 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game. She led the Atlantic East Conference with 120 assists and 81 steals. Coleman had 18 double-doubles and two triple-doubles. Coleman was also named to the D3Hoops All-Region 5 First Team.
Coleman helped lead the Immaculata women's basketball team to an historic season, going 24-4, 14-0 in the Atlantic East Conference regular season, and winning both playoff games to win their second consecutive Atlantic East Conference Championship, defeating Marywood 74-49 to extend their winning streak to 16 games. Coleman was the Atlantic East Conference Tournament MVP after registering a double-double in the Championship game, scoring 20 points and adding 13 rebounds. Immaculata's season would end with an NCAA Tournament loss to SUNY New Paltz.
This is the second consecutive season Immaculata has had a player named to the PHILLY-SIDA All-Area Academic Team, with Coleman joining
