Turgeon enters her second season on Immaculata's coaching staff alongside 3 other former Mighty Macs. With 15 years of coaching experience, Chelsea’s passion is to help student athletes reach their potential in and out of the classroom. Her coaching career started as a head AAU coach with three other Mighty Macs during her time at Immaculata University. Chelsea has coached a variety of levels and ages and recently assisted at Henderson High School.
As a member of the women’s basketball team at IU, Chelsea achieved a milestone of 1,000 career points and was selected as the Colonial States Athletic Conference's nominee for the 2011 NCAA Woman of the Year. She was also named a finalist for The Jostens Trophy, which recognizes outstanding basketball players who exemplify the Division III philosophy of the well-rounded student-athlete - athletic ability but also their excellence in academics and campus and community service.
After IU, Chelsea graduated from Lynchburg College in 2014 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Chelsea enjoys nightly bike and scooter rides with her daughter and cheering on her husband’s Great Valley Baseball team.
