IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball team soundly defeated visiting Centenary College on Tuesday night, 3-0, as the Mighty Macs earned their third sweep of the season. Immaculata claimed the match by set scores of 25-7, 25-11 and 25-18.

The Mighty Macs improved to 6-11 overall and 2-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) with the win. Centenary falls to 0-18, 0-4 CSAC.

Jamie Rombach's nine kills paced the Mighty Macs' attack.

Rebecca McDonald each contributed eight kills in the winning effort. McDonald's eight kills came on just eight attacks for a perfect hitting percentage of 1.000.
Brittany Thompson recorded 21 assists, while
Maranda Jones had 12 assists during the match.
Molly Truitt made seven digs, and
Haley Swearer had six digs.
Allison Lang served up a team-best five service aces against the Cyclones.

Immaculata had 37 kills on 74 attacks while only making 10 attacking errors for a season-high hitting percentage of .365. Immaculata also tied its mark for fewest reception errors this season with only one.

Immaculata only trailed once during the entire match, and that was on the first point of the second set as Centenary took a 1-0 lead.

Immaculata travels to Notre Dame on Thursday at 7 p.m. looking to even its CSAC mark at 3-3.
