Field Hockey Announces 2026 Schedule

IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata field hockey head coach Kate Copskey has unveiled the team's 2026 schedule, which features 16 games.

Copskey is entering her 12th season at the helm of the Mighty Macs. The team aims to improve from their 7-13 (2-2 AEC) record from 2025. Their season ended with a defeat at Neumann in the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Semifinals.

The Mighty Macs' season and home opener is on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m., when they welcome FDU-Florham to Draper Walsh Stadium (DWS). After a quick trip to King's (Pa.), Immaculata gets three home games in a row. From mid-September to early October, the Mighty Macs play six consecutive road games, the first four of which are against MAC Commonwealth and MAC Freedom opponents.

Friday, Oct. 2 is Immaculata's United East Conference (UEC) opener at Penn State Harrisburg. The 2026 campaign marks a conference shift for Immaculata field hockey, who are now associate members of the UEC. From 2018-25, Immaculata field hockey competed in the AEC.

Immaculata will host Keystone for their UEC home opener on Oct. 13. This begins the Mighty Macs' final five regular season games, with four taking place at DWS. The one road contest sandwiched in between, on Oct. 17, is at St. Mary's (Md). St. Mary's has won the UEC championship the last two seasons.

The regular season finale is on Oct. 24 versus Gwynedd Mercy. Similar to Immaculata, Gwynedd Mercy, also a full member of the AEC, is moving their field hockey program to the UEC as an associate member.

This year's UEC playoffs are from Oct. 27 to Nov. 7.
