IMMACULATA, Pa.- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District At-Large Team selections on Tuesday afternoon, and Immaculata had six players earn honors.
Maria Berenato (Hammonton, N.J. / Hammonton),
Gigi Fox (Hammonton, N.J. / St. Joseph's Academy), and
Gabrielle O'Brien (Glenmoore, Pa. / Bishop Shanahan) of the Immaculata field hockey team, and
Elizabeth Mahmud (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West),
Bailee Neitz (Allentown, Pa. / Salisbury), and
Carly Oberg (Woolwich, N.J. / Kingsway Regional) of the Immaculata women's lacrosse team earned honors.
Maria Berenato started eight of 19 games, logging 599 minutes. Scored a goal for two points; 13 of 31 shots were on goal. Had a game-winner vs Manhattanville. Took a season-high five shots on goal in six attempts vs. Lancaster Bible (9/12)
Gigi Fox started six of 19 appearances, logging 467 minutes of action. Contributed offensively with a goal worth two points, putting eight of 13 shots on target. Delivered a decisive moment of the season with an overtime game-winning goal against Gwynedd Mercy on October 25 to clinch a playoff spot for Immaculata.
Gabrielle O'Brien started 11 of 18 games, logging 643 minutes on the season. Recorded a goal and two assists for four total points, while finishing 12 of 16 shots on goal for strong attacking efficiency. Delivered key contributions in decisive moments, including a game-winning goal. Posted a season-best performance against the College of Wooster on October 10.
Elizabeth Mahmud made an immediate impact in her first season in 2026, starting all 18 games and leading the team with 53 goals, seven assists, and 60 points. She added 50 ground balls, 35 caused turnovers, and a team-high 94 draw controls, establishing herself as a dynamic two-way midfielder. Mahmud recorded 11 multi-goal games, including a seven-goal performance against Notre Dame of Maryland University and six goals versus Bryn Mawr College.
Bailee Neitz started all 18 games while anchoring the defensive unit throughout the season. Finished with 23 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers, while also recording her first collegiate assist against Notre Dame of Maryland University. Posted a season-high three caused turnovers at Marymount University. Neitz is also a two-sport athlete at Immaculata University, competing on the field hockey team in the fall.
Carly Oberg started all 18 games during her senior campaign, providing veteran leadership and versatility across the field. Finished the season with two goals and two assists, while setting career highs with 10 caused turnovers and seven draw controls. Contributed a goal and an assist in a win over Delaware Valley University, continuing to be a steady two-way presence throughout the year.
The 2026 Academic All-District® At Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom for sports that do not have their own All-District teams. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
To be selected, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at her current institution. At the time of nomination, athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of the team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of the games. Nominations were limited to a maximum of six student-athletes per school.
