PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) announced its 2024 Academic All-Area Field Hockey Team on Monday, and Immaculata sophomore Alexis Andrada (Maple Shade, N.J. / Maple Shade) was selected as one of 13 honorees for 2025.
 
The Academic All-Area Team is chosen through nominations and voting by sports information and athletic communications offices from 30 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia metropolitan region. To qualify, student athletes must be in at least their second year of collegiate competition and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher.
 
Andrada earned a spot on the All-Atlantic East Conference First Team for the second straight season in 2025. She led Immaculata with a career-best of 12 goals and 25 points, including two game-winning tallies. Her goal and point totals ranked third in the Atlantic East Conference. Over the season, she recorded three multi-goal performances, highlighted by a hat trick against Cedar Crest on September 27.
 
Andrada also assisted on the overtime winner against Gwynedd Mercy that secured a postseason berth for the Mighty Macs, and she scored Immaculata's lone goal in the AEC semifinal matchup at Neumann.
 
This year's Academic All-Area Team features five honorees from Division III, seven from Division I, and one from Division II. Milou Kluyt of Saint Joseph's University was selected as the 2025 Performer of the Year.
