HEAD COACH BRITTANY WHALEN ON ATLANTIC EAST CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT

" Our mindset is to take one game at a time," said Immaculata women's head coach Brittany Whalen. "The semifinal game against Centenary will be a very tough and physical one, and we want to control the controllables. The most important things are to remain disciplined, execute the game plan, and compete to win. We are super excited about hosting—the environment in Alumnae Hall is always upbeat and a lot of fun to be a part of."

Immaculata will face the tough task of trying to beat teams for a third time this season in the AEC Tournament. When asked what her team needs to do to be successful on Wednesday evening, Whalen said, "The biggest thing is going to be keeping their players off the offensive boards. Centenary does a fantastic job getting in position to rebound the basketball and extend possessions, so that will be a main focal point for us to contain."

"We are really looking forward to playing and giving our all in every aspect of this next stretch," concluded Whalen. "We have prepared all season long to get to this point, and the intention is to remain focused and in the moment. We have a fantastic group of players and coaches who have dedicated so much to this team for the last six months, and we want to continue the ride."
