IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's lacrosse team is set to open its 2026 season on Saturday morning when it visits Alvernia University for an 11:00 a.m. game. The Mighty Macs return after a 2025 season that saw them finish 3-14 overall, and 1-4 in Atlantic East Conference play.

Following Saturday's game, Immaculata will return to Draper Walsh Stadium on Wednesday, February 25, when it hosts Notre Dame of Maryland at 7 p.m. for their home opener. Immaculata will navigate the non-conference schedule of 11 games before opening Atlantic East Conference play on Saturday, March 28, when they host Marywood at Draper Walsh Stadium.

Immaculata was slated in fourth place, with 11 points in the Atlantic East Conference preseason coaches' poll.

Marymount is the favorite to repeat as AEC Champions with 24 points and four first-place votes. Marywood is in second place with 20 points and one first-place vote. Neumann is in third place with 19 points and one first-place vote. Immaculata is fourth with 11 points, and Gwynedd Mercy and Centenary are fifth and sixth with 10 points and six points.

The Atlantic East Conference will have six schools competing, with four teams qualifying for the Atlantic East Conference Tournament.

"Our team has always believed in success through a positive culture and bringing a competitive edge to each practice and game," concluded Conzentino. "This especially stands true with this group of ladies. We have started off the season stronger and faster than we have since I began here 3 years ago, and we will look to grow every day. We are young, but I see this group having a successful season this spring purely based on their attitude and effort thus far. The potential is extremely high, and I am extremely excited to watch them grow!"
