HADDONFIELD, N.J. - Immaculata University athletes had a standout week, earning five total honors in the Atlantic East Conference's weekly awards across women's and men's basketball and swimming. The Mighty Macs displayed exceptional performances on the court and in the pool, highlighted by
Carly Coleman's consecutive Player of the Week recognition.
Carly Coleman (Springfield, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara) earned Atlantic East Conference Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after leading Immaculata to two crucial road victories. Over the week, Coleman totaled 51 points, 23 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 4 steals.
Against Saint Elizabeth, Coleman notched her eighth double-double of the season with 17 points and 17 rebounds, tying her career high, along with 2 blocks and 1 steal. She followed that performance with a career-high 34 points on Saturday against Centenary, adding 6 rebounds, 1 block, and 3 steals. Coleman's clutch plays in the fourth quarter helped erase an eight-point deficit and secured the victory, with her 34 points marking the second-highest single-game scoring output in program history.
Dylan Crews (Philadelphia, Pa. / Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School) was named to the AEC Weekly Honor Roll for the third consecutive week. Crews contributed 35 points over two games, shooting 56.2% from the field and an impressive 94% from the free-throw line, while adding 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal. His performance included 11 points and 4 rebounds against Saint Elizabeth and a career-high 24 points at Centenary.
Mandon Seapoe (Upper Darby, Pa. / First Coast Christian) also earned AEC Weekly Honor Roll recognition for the second time this season. Seapoe anchored the defense over two conference games, tallying 11 rebounds, 6 steals, and 7 assists. He recorded eight rebounds and three steals against Saint Elizabeth and added three rebounds and three steals in the Centenary matchup.
Ashley Batejan (Haddon Heights, N.J. / Paul VI) earned AEC Weekly Honor Roll recognition for the second time this season. She broke a program record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.68 seconds, placing second overall and eighth in the conference. Batejan also won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:21.52, the third-best time in the conference, and helped relay teams secure second-place finishes in both the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays.
Mike DeMattei (Broomall, Pa. / Marple Newtown) was named to the AEC Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season. DeMattei earned three third place finishes at the meet against St. Mary's of Maryland, placing in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.53), 200-yard backstroke (2:09.82), and 100-yard butterfly (58.21), demonstrating versatility and consistency across multiple events.
