WHAT TO KNOW

Immaculata women's volleyball is back at Alumnae Hall on Wednesday. The Mighty Macs host the Delaware Valley University Aggies for their 2025 home opener.
The Mighty Macs look for their first win of the season after a close battle with Penn State Abington on Saturday. Immaculata fell 6-25, 25-22, 14-25, 25-19, 9-15.
This will be the first home match under new head coach Mary Kirchner.
Delaware Valley comes into Wednesday at 1-1, following the Cedar Crest tri-match. They beat the host 3-2 but were swept by Gwynedd Mercy.

SERIES HISTORY

Wednesday will mark the ninth meeting between Immaculata and Delaware Valley women's volleyball, a series that began in 2008.
The Mighty Macs are 3-5 versus the Aggies all-time.

LAST MEETING

The last meeting between the two teams was on Sept. 25, 2021. Immaculata took down Delaware Valley in five sets.
Isabelle Davis led the Mighty Macs with 14 kills.
Emily Ettien was solid with 27 assists and eight aces, both team-highs.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES

First-year Angelica Santini Bulerin shined in her collegiate debut against Penn State Abington, racking up team-highs of 15 assists and four aces.
Four players, Emma Hodgson, Damani Myers, Mia Esposito, and Eliana Szatkowski, each had at least five kills.
Myers, also in her collegiate debut, saw three consecutive aces at the beginning of the third set.

SCOUTING DELAWARE VALLEY

Monique Smith is the Aggies' leader in kills so far (30). She registered 23 against Cedar Crest.
Madison Alexander is the primary setter. Her 60 assists in 2025 are first on the team. None of her teammates have more than five. Alexander also has a team-high six aces.
Smith, Kai Logan, and Ariana Hernandez are tied for the team lead with three blocks each.

UP NEXT

The Mighty Macs are back to work tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. for a quick road trip to Glenside, Pa. They will face the Arcadia University Knights.
