PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA) announced their 2025 All-Area Academic Baseball Team on Tuesday afternoon. Immaculata baseball's Alex LePage (Cinnaminson, N.J. / Cinnaminson) was one of 12 student-athletes from 10 different schools named to the team.
The team is selected through nominations and voting by the sports information offices from 30 institutions in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. To be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, athletes must be at least in their second year with their program and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better.
LePage was the Atlantic East Conference Co-Pitcher of the Year and was named to the All-Atlantic East Conference First Team. LePage was 7-5, with a 3.30 ERA in 12 starts for Immaculata. He had four complete games, one shutout and in 71 innings pitched, he had 75 strikeouts. He pitched a complete game, one-hitter with a season-high 12 strikeouts at Ursinus on March 22nd, and pitched a complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts against Centenary on April 3rd. He earned the win against Centenary in the AEC Tournament, pitching 7.1 innings and allowing only two earned runs to help Immaculata reach the AEC Semifinals.
