Baseball Names Six to All-Conference List, Nocito Claims ROTY

HADDONFIELD, N.J. – Immaculata baseball saw six student-athletes named to the All-Atlantic East Conference list, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Encompassing the First Team are catcher Robert Woodward and pitcher Alex LePage. The Second Team has infielder JT Luther, designated hitter Nick Turnage, and outfielders Danny Nocito and Hunter Weitzel. In addition to his Second Team selection, Nocito was selected as the conference's Rookie of the Year.

Woodward was a good presence in the offense and an elite presence behind the plate. Offensively, he batted .296 in 81 at-bats. He collected 18 runs, 24 hits, 10 doubles, a triple, a home run, and 22 RBIs. Defensively, he snagged 160 putouts for a .983 fielding percentage and threw out nine runners stealing.

LePage was the Mighty Macs' ace, starting 12 of 13 games on the mound. LePage finished with a 4-5 record, 3.52 ERA, and 1.28 WHIP. In 71.2 innings, he struck out 65 batters. LePage pitched two complete games and earned a save. Against Saint Elizabeth on April 18, LePage retired a career-high 14 batters, which tied Jason Hughes for the Immaculata program strikeouts record.

Nocito had a solid first season. The freshman batted .346 in 127 at-bats and logged 30 runs, 44 hits, 10 doubles, a triple, three homers, and 27 RBIs. He was the only player on the team with more than one home run, and he successfully stole 10 bases in 14 attempts. Defensively, Nocito added 79 putouts and a .963 fielding percentage.

Luther was a reliable option on both sides of the ball. Batting .309 in 97 at-bats, Luther accumulated 27 runs, 30 hits, four doubles, a triple, and 16 RBIs. He had 40 defensive putouts and 59 assists and tallied a .917 fielding percentage. Luther compiled a particularly good week in early April between Stockton and a weekend series with Neumann. Across four games, Luther batted .667 and had 10 hits, eight runs, and six RBIs.

Turnage was a standout bat in the lineup with a .379 average. In 124 at-bats, he collected 22 runs, 47 hits, seven doubles, and 31 RBIs. In limited time defensively, Turnage had eight putouts and an assist for a perfect fielding percentage.

Weitzel was Immaculata's lead bat in 2026, hitting .430 in 79 at-bats. He logged 18 runs, 34 hits, five doubles, and 19 RBIs. Defensively, he had 37 putouts for a .977 fielding percentage.

Immaculata baseball completed this season at 15-24 (10-8 AEC) with an AEC postseason appearance.

Woodward is from Somerdale, N.J. LePage hails from Cinnaminson, N.J. Nocito is a Langhorne, Pa. native. Luther is from Ridgewood, N.J. Weitzel hails from Harleysville, Pa. Turnage's hometown is Haddonfield, N.J.
