Baseball 2026 Season Recap

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata baseball wrapped up their fifth season under head coach Josh Copskey.

The Mighty Macs were 15-24 (10-8 AEC). The team will use their Atlantic East Conference tournament berth as a building block for the future as they build for 2027.

THE SCHEDULE

To begin the season, the Mighty Macs posted a 1-2 record at the Shenandoah Mr. V Memorial Tournament. This included a season-opening win against Oswego State. Immaculata played a demanding eight-game schedule in Myrtle Beach the following week for spring break. Conference play opened on March 20 with Marymount. To end March, the Mighty Macs played opponents like Arcadia and Penn State Abington and took a huge series win over Gwynedd Mercy.

Immaculata found a groove in early April, starting with an impressive win over Cairn before Easter break. They won three conference series in a row over Neumann, Saint Elizabeth, and Marywood. In the two wins versus Neumann, Immaculata outscored the Knights 27-2. Across the Saint Elizabeth series, the advantage was 45-5. With the Marywood series tied one game apiece, the Mighty Macs made a dramatic six-run ninth-inning comeback in Game 3 to seal the deal. The team faced Salisbury and Centenary (N.J.) to wrap up the regular season.

Immaculata advanced to the AEC Tournament, hosted by Centenary, as the third seed. They would fall to eventual-champion Marymount and the host in a double-elimination format to conclude their campaign.

The Mighty Macs will look to add new faces alongside the foundations they have to once again be competitive in the conference in 2027.
