THE STORYLINE 

  • The Immaculata baseball team (12-26, 7-8 AEC) enter Friday's elimination game having lost their first game in the AEC Tournament since 2021.  

  • Centenary (1-21-1, 8-7 AEC) enters Friday's elimination game after falling to Neumann 7-6 in 11 innings at Neumann on Wednesday. 

  • The winner of the Immaculata vs Centenary game will play the loser of the Marymount vs Neumann game at 6:00 p.m. in another elimination game. 

THE SERIES 

  • Immaculata and Centenary are meeting for the 29 time in their series that began in 2010. 

  • Immaculata is 25-13 all-time vs Centenary. 

  • This is the two teams' first-time meeting in postseason play. 

LAST MEETING 

  • Centenary defeated Immaculata 9-0 in their last meeting on April 4, 2025, at Centenary. 

  • Jake Keenan threw seven scoreless innings for Centenary to earn the win for the Cyclones.

  • Sophomore catcher Dominick Chiego is batting .360 with 30 runs scored, two home runs and 40 RBIs. 

  • Sophomore outfielder Joseph Frei is batting .343, with 18 runs scored, and 26 RBIs. 

  • Senior catcher Nick Payne is batting .281, with 38 runs scored, five home runs and 30 RBIs. 

  • Sophomore infielder Myles Castillo is batting .285 with 36 runs scored, three home runs and 24 RBIs. 

  • Senior pitcher Jake Keenan threw seven scoreless innings for Centenary to earn the win for the Cyclones in his start vs Immaculata this season.
