THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's lacrosse team (1-10, 0-0 AEC) is back in action on Tuesday evening when they travel to Cedar Crest College for their final non-conference game.
  • Immaculata enters Tuesday's game after falling to DeSales at home on Saturday afternoon.
  • Cedar Crest (4-2, 1-0 UEC) after defeating Notre Dame of Maryland 22-5 in their United East Conference opener on Saturday.

  • Senior attacker Maddie Graham leads the Falcons with 27 goals and 13 assists for 40 points.
  • Junior midfielder Kylah Demarest has 23 goals and nine assists for 32 points.
  • Junior attacker Ellie Terranova has eight goals and five assists for 13 points and has 25 draw controls.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Irelyn Yoder is 4-2 in six games, with 46 saves on 117 shots faced.
  • Senior midfielder Abi Sipel has a team-high 12 caused turnovers.
  • As a team Cedar Crest is averaging 33 shots per game, and their opponents 19.5.
 
TRYING NEW THINGS
  • Addison Yackel joined the lacrosse team this season from the Immaculata women's soccer team, having not played lacrosse since middle school. Yackel has made a great transition to the sport, being among the team leaders in ground balls, and caused turnovers. Yackel was named to the AEC Weekly Honor Roll on March 17th. In the past week she has begun taking draw controls for the Mighty Macs winning four in each of the last two games.
  • Bailee Neitz joined the lacrosse team this season from the Immaculata field hockey team. Neitz has established herself as key contributor on the defensive end for Immaculata with eight ground balls, and five caused turnovers in the past two games.
 
UP NEXT
  • The Immaculata women's lacrosse team will be back in action on Saturday, April 5th when they visit Neumann University for their Atlantic East Conference opener at 1:00 p.m. at the Neumann Turf Field.
