CHASING HISTORY
  • Jacki Murray enters Wednesday's game against Del Val with 257 career points. On Monday afternoon, a discrepancy was found in the IU women's lacrosse record book page. The record showed the all-time points record at 283. That number was incorrect. Layne Kennedy had 257 career points in her Immaculata career from 2017-2020. In 59 games Kennedy scored 215 goals, with 42 assists. When the record book was updated following the pandemic, the 26 goals Kennedy had scored got added to the final number a second time. The record book has been corrected.
  • With her last goal at Lebanon Valley on Saturday Jacki Murray had set a new program record for career goals with 216, she had in fact tied the career scoring record for points on the same goal with 257 career points. With her next point Murray will be the program's new all-time leading scorer.

WEEKLY HONORS
  • Jacki Murrey was named to the Atlantic East Conference Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon.

UP NEXT
  • The Immaculata women's lacrosse team will be back in action on Saturday, March 29th when they host DeSales University at Draper Walsh Stadium at 1:00 p.m.
