Women's Lacrosse Hosts Swarthmore at Draper Walsh Stadium on Wednesday

THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's lacrosse team (1-5, 0-0 AEC) returns to Draper Walsh Stadium when they host Swarthmore College.
  • Immaculata enters Wednesday's game after falling to Alvernia 13-9 on Saturday at Draper Walsh Stadium.
  • Swarthmore enters Wednesday's game after falling to #22 Christopher Newport on Sunday 12-10 at home.

  • Cara Strickland has scored in each of the last two games for Immaculata. Strickland scored a goal at Elizabethtown on Thursday and scored two goals vs Alvernia on Saturday.
  • Ava Hoffman has scored nine goals and has two assists this season. Hoffman has collected 28 ground balls, has eight caused turnovers, and 17 draw controls.
  • Kelsey Caldarelli has four goals and four assists, with 25 ground balls, is tied for the team lead with 16 caused turnovers, and seven draw controls.
  • Addison Yackel earned her first AEC Weekly Honor being named to the AEC Weekly Honor Roll after getting a combined 14 ground balls, and nine caused turnovers in three games this past week for Immaculata. Yackel, a newcomer to the sport this spring has 32 ground balls and is tied for the team lead with 16 caused turnovers.
  • Abigail Guarneri has been strong in goal for Immaculata making 72 saves on 229 shots faced this season. Guarneri had 34 saves across Immaculata's three games last week, including 14 saves vs Elizabethtown and 11 saves against Alvernia.
  • Ashley Finkbiner has 10 ground balls, and eight caused turnovers on the defensive side this season.
  • Carly Oberg has three goals and three assists, with 15 ground balls, four caused turnovers, and two draw controls.

  • Senior Attacker Isabella Bloomquist leads the Garnet offense with 15 goals, seven assists, and 22 points.
  • Junior attacker Aubree Daugherty scored 11 goals, got four assists, and 15 points.
  • Junior attacker Kela Watts has 11 goals, two assists, for 13 points.
  • Senior midfielder Elizabeth Zack has a team high of 28 draw controls.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Brooke Carrier is 5-1 with 22 saves on 88 shots faced.
  • As a team Swarthmore is averaging 31.2 shots per game, and their opponents are averaging 17.
 
CHASING HISTORY
  • Jacki Murray currently sits with 208 career goals and is now only seven goals behind the program's career record amount of 215 goals held by Layne Kennedy (2017-20).
  • Murray also has 284 career draw controls and is 25 away from the program record of 309 draw controls held by Danielle Lopez (2012-15).
