THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's lacrosse team opens their 2025 season on Wednesday, when they visit Bryn Athyn College for a 5:30 p.m. game.
  • Immaculata enters the 2025 season after going 9-8 overall, and 3-3 in Atlantic East Conference play in 2024. Immaculata fell to Neumann in the AEC Tournament First Round.
  • Bryn Athyn enters the 2025 season after going 10-3 overall, and 3-1 in United East Conference play. The Lions were defeated in the UEC Semifinals by Wilson College 11-8 at home.

  • Senior Midfielder Kelsey Caldarelli played in 12 games, starting 10 before injury ended her season. Caldarelli scooped 19 ground balls and had nine caused turnovers in 2024.
  • Senior defender Ashley Finkbiner returns to lead the Immaculata defensive core in 2025. Finkbiner played and started in all 17 games, scoring one goal, and added 18 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.
  • Junior goalkeeper Abigail Guarneri returns after playing all 17 games for Immaculata in 2024, going 9-8 with 121 saves.
 
SCOUTING BRYN ATHYN
  • Senior midfielder Shea Gormley returns after leading the Lions with 63 goals, 69 points and 58 ground balls. She was the 2024 UEC Offensive Player of the Year.
  • Junior attack Sabrina Brock scored 28 goals, with 26 assists, and 54 points.
  • Junior goalkeeper Chloe Munyan returns after going 6-3 with 79 saves in 2024.
  • Bryn Athyn was 6-1 at General Ronald K. Nelson Field in 2024, with their only loss coming in the UEC Semifinal to Wilson College 11-8.
