HADDONFIELD, N.J. — The Atlantic East Conference announced its weekly women's basketball awards Monday afternoon, and Immaculata swept the honors.
Carly Coleman was named Defensive Player of the Week, while
Olivia Ettorre was named Player of the Week.
Carly Coleman (Springfield, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara) received AEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. She recorded her fifth double-double of the year with 12 points and a game-high 14 rebounds — all on the defensive end — while adding one assist, two blocks, and four steals in Immaculata's 76–58 victory over Delaware Valley on Thursday. Coleman also posted a +23 plus/minus rating.
Olivia Ettorre (Mickleton, N.J. / Kingsway Regional) earned AEC Player of the Week honors for the first time in her Immaculata career. She led the Mighty Macs with a game-high 21 points in the win over Delaware Valley, shooting an efficient 8-of-11 (72.7%) from the field and 5-of-6 (83.3%) from three-point range. Ettorre added three rebounds and two assists while finishing with a +21 rating, underscoring her impact on both ends of the floor.
The Immaculata women's basketball team will break for the holidays before returning to action on Saturday, Jan. 3, with a 1 p.m. road matchup at Haverford College.
