LANCASTER, Pa.- The Atlantic East Conference announced their weekly women's basketball awards on Monday afternoon. For a second straight week, Immaculata has swept the women's weekly basketball awards.
Abigail Boyer was named AEC Player of the Week, and
Carly Coleman was named AEC Defensive Player of the Week. This was the first career player of the week selection for both Boyer and Coleman
Abigail Boyer (Royersford, Pa. / Spring-Ford High School)Â who was named Atlantic East Conference Player of the Week, scored a combined 40 points, with six rebounds, six assists, and four steals in Immaculata's two games this week. She scored 19 points with four rebounds, four assists, and two steals, shooting 3-for-5 from three-point range in their Atlantic East Conference win at Neumann on January 8th. Boyer scored 21 points, with six three-pointers, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals in Immaculata's Atlantic East Conference win at Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday.
Carly Coleman (Springfield, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara High School) who
 was named Atlantic East Conference Defensive Player of the Week, had a combined 17 rebounds, including 16 defensive rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals over Immaculata's two games this week. She had five rebounds, including four defensive rebounds, with one steal, two assists, and 17 points in Immaculata's win over Neumann on January 8th. Coleman had a double-double with 12 rebounds, all of them defensive rebounds, with two blocked shots, four steals, nine assists, and 11 points in Immaculata's Atlantic East Conference win over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday.
The Immaculata women's basketball team will be back in action on Saturday, January 18
th when they host Centenary University at Alumnae Hall for an Atlantic East Conference game at 1:00 p.m.
