Women's Soccer Hosts Lancaster Bible at Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday

IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata women's soccer team (2-4-0) continues their busy week as they host Lancaster Bible on Saturday at Draper Walsh Stadium at 11:00 am.

SERIES HISTORY 

  • These two schools are meeting for the eighth time in a series that began back in 2003. 

  • Immaculata is 2-5-0 overall vs Lancaster Bible. 


LAST MEETING 

  • Immaculata fell to Lancaster Bible 4-0 in the school's last meeting on September 3, 2023, at Lancaster Bible. 


MIGHTY MAC NOTES 

  • Immaculata will be looking to bounce back from Thursday's loss to NJCU on Saturday. 

  • Immaculata goalkeeper Emily Guthier has played every game for Immaculata this season. She had nine saves vs NJCU on September 12th, on 26 shots faced.  

  • Rachel McNamee leads Immaculata with three goals and 11 shots on goal. 

  • Gabby Palladino has one goal and an assist and has provided strong play and grit in her first season in a Mighty Macs uniform. 

  • Kelsey Caldarelli has scored one goal, and the goal was the game-winner vs King's College on September 3rd. 

  • Sam Terry has been a terrific addition to the Mighty Macs this season taking corner kicks and free kicks. She has two assists, both coming on corner kicks. 

  • Carly Coleman has been strong for Immaculata in her first season, scoring the game-winning goal in the season opener. 

  • Marissa Birmingham is off to a great start to her collegiate career providing strong play in all areas on the field for the Mighty Macs. 


SCOUTING LANCASTER BIBLE 

  • Lancaster Bible has begun its season 1-1-1. They tied Houghton 4-4 in their season opener on August 30th, before falling to Marywood 5-0 on September 4th. In their last match, LBC defeated Bryn Athyn 2-0 on September 11th. 

  • Sophomore forward Isabella Eufemia leads the Chargers with three goals and two assists. 

  • Sophomore midfielder Ameilia DePaul, sophomore defender Samantha Perioni, and first-year midfielder Allie Zuber have all scored one goal for the Chargers. 

  • Freshman Carissa Mulder has played all three games for the Chargers and has made 19 saves on 39 shots faced. 


UP NEXT 

  • The Immaculata women's soccer team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 18th when they visit Rosemont College for a 4:00 pm match.
