IMMACULATA, Pa.- Off to a 7-5 start to the season, the Immaculata men's basketball team looks to bounce back from a pair of loses in the 2023 Florida Sunshine Shootout as they open Atlantic East Conference play when the visit defending conference champion Marymount University. Tip off is scheduled for 8:00 PM.

Series Information

In the all-time series between the schools, Marymount leads the series 11-2. Marymount has won the last five meetings between the schools, including their most recent match up in the Atlantic East Conference semifinals 81-73 on February 22, 2023.

Mighty Mac Talk

Immaculata enters play this evening having dropped their two tournament games to Hobart on December 28^th and Ramapo on December 29^th.  Prior to the holiday break Immaculata had defeated Mississippi University for Women 81-62 on December 16^th. The highlight of the first half of the season for the Mighty Macs was winning the Mustang Classic hosted by Stevenson in November.

Immaculata has been led this season by their starters with two averaging in double figures, and three others averaging above eight points per game. Tyler Tillery leads the team in scoring averaging 11.6 per game and is closing in on 1,000 career points. Tillery is averaging 9.3 rebounds per game and has a team high 18 blocked shots. Gregory Vlassopoulos is second averaging 10.6 points per game, and John Proctor is third averaging 9.4 points per game. Dinero Washington is averaging 8.4 points per game and Dylan Crews is averaging 8.3 points per game, with a team high 18 steals.

Immaculata has gotten strong contributions off the bench from Mandon Seapoe who has also started a handful of games averaging 9.0 points per game, and Tim Schultice averaging 7.8 points per game. John Flood has been strong on the defensive end of the court for the Mighty Macs.

Scouting Marymount

Marymount enters conference play with a record of 6-5 on the season. Marymount defeated Lynchburg in their most recent game on December 20^th 73-71.
Marymount has been led this season by Montell Cooper who is averaging 13.9 points per game, with 5.6 rebounds per game, and 2.2 steals per game. Marcus Stubbs is averaging 13.5 points per game, with 3.6 rebounds per game, and 1.2 steals per game.
