Men's Basketball 2025-26 Season Recap

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata men's basketball completed its 2025-26 season, which was the first year under new head coach Kyle Stramara.

The Mighty Macs went 5-20 (4-10 AEC) under Stramara, but the team will look to rebuild in the offseason and add to the win column next season.

THE SCHEDULE

Men's basketball began the season with a dominant 109-83 victory over Sarah Lawrence in Washington College's "Wild Goose Classic." Immaculata's home opener versus Moravian was arguably the best game of the season, despite the loss. The Mighty Macs took the Greyhounds to double overtime in a high-flying 120-118 decision.

Immaculata struggled over the next two months. They stayed in games until the end, but were unable to turn results into wins. The 12-game skid was snapped on Jan. 14 with a double-digit home win over conference-rival Saint Elizabeth, a team that joined the Atlantic East Conference this season. The Mighty Macs built momentum in late January by beating Pratt and Neumann, the latter of whom is the back-to-back conference champion.

Despite a tough loss to Marymount in the penultimate game, the Mighty Macs celebrated Dylan Crews' 1000th career point in the second half. He became the ninth men's basketball player in Immaculata history to achieve this feat, and Crews happened to do this in his final career home game.

Immaculata ended the 2025-26 campaign on a high note, winning at Pratt to record the series sweep.

Although the overall record was down from last season, the Mighty Macs have key pieces to build upon for the future.
