ASTON, Pa.- The Immaculata women's basketball team is anxious to get their first Atlantic East Conference Tournament started as the fifth seed and they will travel to fourth-seeded Neumann on Monday night for an Atlantic East Quarterfinal. The Mighty Macs finished the regular season at 7-18 overall and 4-8 in the conference while Neumann was 14-11 overall and 6-6 in league play.

-These two teams met twice previously, and the Knights claimed both contests

th, Neumann won at Immaculata, 81-65. They used a 42-26 halftime advantage and never looked back in the victory. Neumann stand out Nafisa Saunders scored 31 points and added 13 rebounds. For the Macs,
Theresa Kearney scored a career-high 26 points to lead IU
-In the second meeting on January 30
th, the Mighty Macs led a majority of the game, including by 12 at halftime, but a late third quarter run by Neumann made the game tight, and the Knights outscored IU, 20-12 in the final period and topped the Macs, 74-69. Kearney was again the high scorer for the Macs with 17 and Saunders did the same for the Knights with 34.
-The Mighty Macs are seventh in offense this season in the conference at 54.8 points per game while allowing the 61.0, second best mark in the Atlantic East. Neumann is allowing the most points at 71.0 per game, but also scoring the most at 67.9 per game
-For the Mighty Macs, they had two of the top 11 scorers in the Atlantic East this season. Kearney averaged 13.2, seventh best, while senior
Amber Ballinger had a strong final regular season with 11.7 points per game, 11
th best in the conference.
-For Neumann, their offense revolves around Saunders, who led the league at 26.4 points per game, nearly 11 points more than the second highest scorer. Mariah Maciejewski checks in with the second most points at 9.6 per game. Limiting Saunders will be key for the Mighty Mac defense
