HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Immaculata University's men's lacrosse team was defeated on the road Wednesday afternoon at Centenary University, 7-4, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

It was a low-scoring first half for both teams as the game was tied 1-1 at halftime. Immaculata got on the scoreboard first as
Brian Shultis scored an unassisted goal three minutes into the contest. The Cyclones evened the game at 1-all with 47 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

The Mighty Macs (3-9, 2-3 CSAC) came out in the second half and scored two goals as
Samuel Zingaro took a pass from Shultis and scored at the 13:11 mark, and
Mike Reardon then scored on a man-up opportunity from
Doug Hughes with 6:01 left in the third quarter to give Immaculata a 3-1 lead.

However, the Cyclones (6-5, 3-2 CSAC) ended the third quarter with three goals to hold a one-goal advantage (4-3) heading into the final quarter of play.

Immaculata tied the game at 4-all as Reardon scored his second goal of the afternoon on a feed from
Ethan Johnson just 1:22 into the fourth quarter. Centenary was able to score twice in less than one minute to put the hosts back in front, 6-4, with 10:47 to play in the game. The Cyclones scored one more goal late in the game for the 7-4 win.

Reardon had two goals, and Shultis finished with one goal and one assist to lead the Mighty Macs with two points.

Jake Kemble had five ground balls and
John Werkheiser picked up four ground balls. Goalkeeper
Denton States led the team with six ground balls while making 15 saves in the contest.
