GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's lacrosse team suffered an 18-4 defeat on the road Tuesday night at Gwynedd Mercy University in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Mike Reardon had two goals and one assist for the Mighty Macs.
Samuel Zingaro finished with one goal and one assist, and
Brian Shultis had two assists.
Doug Hughes also added one goal.

The host Griffins scored the first five goals of the contest, before the Mighty Macs' Zingaro scored with 1:06 remaining in the first quarter, and Gwynedd Mercy led 5-1 after one quarter of play.

Reardon scored with 5:36 left before halftime for Immaculata trimming Gwynedd Mercy's lead to 7-2. However, the Griffins scored twice before the break to carry a 9-2 lead into halftime.

Gwynedd Mercy outscored Immaculata during the second half, 9-2, for the final margin. Reardon had one more goal in the third quarter, and Hughes scored during the fourth quarter for the Mighty Macs.

Tyler Black led Immaculata with four ground balls, and
Jake Kemble caused three Gwynedd Mercy turnovers.
Denton States made 17 saves in goal for Immaculata in the loss.

Immaculata drops to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in the CSAC, while Gwynedd Mercy improved to 5-5, 3-1 CSAC.

Immaculata is on the road at Centenary next Wednesday, April 19, at 4 p.m. in another CSAC contest.
