RADNOR, Pa.- The No. 6 Immaculata women's soccer team will be making their second consecutive appearance in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) postseason tonight when they travel to No. 3 Cabrini for the CSAC Quarterfinals.

The Macs went 6-8-2 overall this year, but had a strong 6-5 showing in the CSAC while Cabrini enters with a 10-2-4 record overall and an 8-1-2 conference mark.

These two teams met 19 days ago on October 11
th when the Cavaliers defeated the Mighty Macs, 3-1. The first half was a tight affair with the Cavaliers outshooting the Macs 7-4 and each team getting on the board once. Katelyn Glinger scored in the 11
th minute for the Cavaliers, but the Macs responded just over two minutes later as freshman
Carley Peacher netted the equalizer.

In the second half, Cabrini scored just 28 seconds into the game to take control of the contest, and they added another in the 82
nd minute to put the game away.

The Macs were led this season on offense by Honorable Mention All-CSAC freshman
Carley Peacher, who set the new single season IU record with 17 goals this year. Second Team All-CSAC freshman
Riley Rudd was second on the team with six goals, four assists, and 16 points to help in the attacking third. Junior
Carrie Quigley, sophomore
Carly Quigley, and sophomore
Hope Bizal all chipped in two goals as well.

Allie Tracey had a strong year in the cage. She went 5-6-2 with a 1.76 goals against average and a save percentage of .701 with four shutouts.

The Macs were sixth in the conference with 2.25 goals scored per game and sixth in goals allowed as well with 2.00 per game.

Cabrini is led offensively by Taylor Tralie with eight goals, 10 assists, and 26 points, all best on the squad. Glinger is second with four goals and nine points while Marisa Christensen and Brittany Purdy each have three goals apiece. The Cavs have gotten strong goalkeeping from Gabby LeGendre with a 7-1-3 record, .797 save percentage and 1.03 goals against average.

The Cavaliers have given up the second fewest goals per game at 1.00 in the CSAC and have scored the 10
th most per contest at 2.06, as they rely on their strong back line.

No. 5 Neumann will travel to No. 4 Gwynedd Mercy in the other CSAC Quarterfinal. Should the Mighty Macs emerge victorious on Wednesday night, they will travel to No. 1 Marywood on Wednesday for the CSAC Semifinals.
