-However, the Cavaliers didn't let the Macs stay one goal down for long as they made it 3-1 just over a minute later on a penalty kick and that's how it went to halftime
-The Macs made a statement just 20 seconds into the second half as Peacher capitalized on a mistake by the defender and beat the keeper to make it 3-2 with just under 45 minutes remaining in the game
-Rudd and Peacher would each have great chances, but were unable to convert and Tracey made an outstanding save to keep the Macs just one goal down
-The Cavaliers added a key insurance goal in the 72

WHAT THEY SAID
-Head Coach
Zena Tracey: "We couldn't be any more proud of the team tonight playing against a really good Cabrini side, and going down early like we did, then fighting the rest of the game and nearly tying it several times. We played hard for all 90 minutes, but came up just short."
