HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Immaculata women's soccer battled back twice to tie Centenary, but fell short in the end as the host Cyclones defeated the Mighty Macs, 5-4, in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) game.

Immaculata now sits at 6-7-2 overall and 6-4 in the CSAC, while Centenary upped its mark to 11-3, 9-1 CSAC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Centenary scored first in the ninth minute, but Immaculata evened the contest at 1-1 in the 30th minute as
Eleana Kriebel sent the ball ahead to
Carley Peacher, who found the back of the net.
- The second half was an offensive explosion for both teams. The Cyclones got goals in the 51st and 57th minutes to pull ahead, 3-1.
- Immaculata then scored twice in less than two minutes as
Carly Quigley scored in the 64th minute, and Peacher netted the 3-3 equalizer in the 65th minute.
- The Cyclones then scored twice in a three-minute span to take a 5-3 lead with 10 minutes remaining in regulation.
- In the final minutes,
Gwyneth Welsh got one goal back for the Mighty Macs in the 88th minute on a pass from Quigley. However, Immaculata wasn't able to tie it up again during the closing minutes.
