LA PLUME, Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team (1-5, 1-0 CSAC) picked up their first win of the season in their Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opener with a 3-1 victory on the road at Keystone (2-3, 0-1 CSAC) on Saturday afternoon. The win is the first in the career of head coach
Zena Tracey.
Senior
Rachel Lamb scored the eventual game-winner in the first half for her first of the season while sophomore
Carrie Quigley scored for the second straight game, and freshman
Carly Quigley netted the first goal of her career.
The Mighty Macs outshot Keystone 26-16, and especially dominated the pace in the second half with an 18-10 advantage over the Giants.
Junior
Allie Tracey picked up the first win of her career in the cage with eight saves.

Carly Mirarchi led the way with seven shots each, while Mirarchi logged a team-high five on the cage.
The Mighty Macs actually fell behind early as Keystone scored in the sixth minute on a free kick from 30 yards out to put IU in a 1-0 hole.
That deficit lasted just 46 seconds when
Carrie Quigley cashed in on a free kick of her own from 25 yards out to even the score at 1-1.
Seven minutes later, Lamb scored the eventual game-winner on a header inside the box on a cross from senior
Erica Buckley to put the Macs in front 2-1. The goal was the eighth of Lamb's career and the score would stay there until halftime.
In the second half, IU generated great pressure for the first 35 minutes and were finally able to break through in the 81
st minute on a long free kick from
Carly Quigley that hit the underside of the cross bar and just crossed over the goal line.
IU would hold on to the lead and pick up their first win of the season and move to 1-0 in CSAC play.
The Macs will step out of non-conference play on Tuesday when they host Washington College at 7 p.m.
