IMMACULATA, Pa.- After starting their season with four consecutive road games, the Immaculata men's soccer played their first game at Draper Walsh Stadium on Tuesday afternoon as they hosted Widener (1-3-1), and after grabbing the lead in the 59
th minute on a goal by sophomore
Alex Noel, the Pride netted the equalizer with 17 seconds remaining and the game would finish in a 1-1 draw.

Senior
Kyle Jumalon led the Mighty Macs (2-2-1) with three shots, and senior
Joe Lubonski made seven saves in the cage.

The game was tight in the first half as neither team was able to generate many chances in the opening 45. Widener outshot the Mighty Macs 5-2, but Lubonski was up to the task early on.

In the second half, senior defender
Matt Dunn possessed the ball deep on the right side of the Widener end and fed the ball to Noel at the top of the box who flicked a shot over the keeper's head and off the underside of the crossbar for a 1-0 Mighty Mac lead. The goal was a team-high fourth for Noel.

The Mighty Macs then defended beautifully for the next 30 minutes until the Pride had one last push in the final minute and they scored the equalizer with 16 seconds left on a shot from the top of the box that deflected off a defender and past Lubonski.

Neither team generated a solid chance in overtime, but freshman
Alex D'Angelo had a shot in double OT from just outside the box that the goalie made a diving save on to keep the game tied at 1-1, which is where it would finish.

The Mighty Macs will go back on the road this coming Saturday with a trip to Delaware Valley.
