RADNOR, Pa. – Immaculata men's lacrosse had its 2016 season come to a close Wednesday evening as the Mighty Macs headed to Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) powerhouse and No. 17 Cabrini, where the hosts defeated the Mighty Macs, 23-7.

Immaculata's
Mike Reardon led the team with two goals and two assists for four points. He assisted on
Samuel Zingaro's third-quarter goal to record the 100th point of his career. Zingaro finished the game scoring two goals.

Brendan Doyle had one goal and one assist, while
Brian Shultis had two assists.
Christian Fisher and
Tyler Black each finished the year with one goal.

Jake Kemble paced the Macs with eight ground balls and four caused turnovers. Black added five ground balls and went 5-for-10 on face-offs. Reardon, Shultis and
Matthew Aikins all scooped up four ground balls.

Christian Custodio made 19 saves as the Cavaliers attempted 73 shots for the game.

Cabrini (12-4, 7-0 CSAC) led 5-1 after the first quarter as Immaculata scored with just one second remaining as Doyle fed the ball to Zingaro. The Cavaliers maintained a 13-2 lead at halftime.

The Mighty Macs scored three goals in the third quarter and twice more in the fourth.

Immaculata wraps to the 2016 season with a 6-10 overall and 2-5 CSAC record.
