BETHLEHEM, Pa. –
Matt Krewson lifted the Mighty Macs to a win in their final non-conference men's lacrosse game of the season Wednesday afternoon at Moravian, 13-12, with his unassisted goal with 48 seconds remaining in the second overtime period.

Trailing 11-9 heading into the final quarter of play, Immaculata got down by three goals (12-9) after Moravian scored with 10:52 to go. The Mighty Macs started a furious comeback as
Mike Reardon scored on a man-up opportunity with five minutes remaining, and Krewson scored from
Christian Fisher with 3:27 to play to cut their deficit to 12-11.

Fisher then set up Reardon for the game-tying goal with 2:05 left in regulation, and the two squads headed into overtime.

Neither team could break thru during the first extra session as Immaculata was held to just one shot, while Mighty Mac goalkeeper
Christian Custodio made three saves to extend the game again.

As time was ticking down in the second overtime,
John Abruzzo forced a Moravian (10-4) turnover and picked up the ground ball for Immaculata. The Mighty Macs had a good clear attempt that was capped by Krewson's game-winning tally.

Reardon led the Mighty Macs (6-8) with five goals and two assists.
Brian Shultis had four goals and one assist to go along with three ground balls. Krewson finished with two goals and one assist. Fisher recorded three assists.
Tyler Black and Sam Zingaro each had one goal. Zingaro picked up four ground balls.

Abruzzo led the team with a school-record 14 ground balls in the game and had five caused turnovers.
Brendan Doyle and
James McLean both scooped up four ground balls.
Jake Kemble caused three turnovers.

Custodio made 17 saves in the games for his sixth win of the year in goal.

Immaculata held a 4-3 lead, and never trailed during the frame, after the first quarter as Reardon scored three goals and Shultis added one score.

Moravian had a five-goal run to start the second quarter to give the Greyhounds an 8-4 advantage with 4:45 to play before halftime. Zingaro and Shultis each scored a man-up goal to close the second quarter as the Mighty Macs were down just two (8-6) at the break.

Each team scored three goals during the third quarter as Shultis added two and Black had one goal for Immaculata.

The Mighty Macs host Marywood Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Draper Walsh Stadium. It is the final home game of the season for Immaculata and marks senior day for Abruzzo and
Jonathan Kopistecki.
