Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata men's lacrosse fell to Gwynedd Mercy Wednesday night in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opener for both squads, 14-4, at Draper Walsh Stadium.

Immaculata (3-6, 0-1 CSAC) had four different goal scorers as
Christian Fisher,
Brendan Doyle,
Mike Reardon and
Matt Krewson all tallied one goal for the Mighty Macs.
Brian Shultis,
Samuel Zingaro and
Tyler Black all recorded one assist.

It was a close contest during the first 30 minutes of play, despite Gwynedd Mercy grapping the early lead. Doyle scored for the Macs with 3:48 remaining in the first quarter to make it a 2-1 game at the end of the quarter.

Reardon answered Gwynedd Mercy's early second quarter marker with a goal with 11:05 to go, which made it 3-2 in favor of the Griffins. However, Gwynedd Mercy scored twice late in the second quarter to take a 5-2 lead into halftime.

The Griffins (4-3, 1-0 CSAC) used the third quarter to outdistance themselves from the Macs, outscoring the host, 7-1, in the frame to run out to a 12-2 advantage.

Christian Custodio made 18 saves for Immaculata as Gwynedd Mercy attempted 56 shots in the contest.
