Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa.- Immaculata women's lacrosse made school history on Saturday afternoon as they sealed up the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) postseason, their highest ever, with an 18-6 victory over Cedar Crest (1-11, 1-7 CSAC), their fifth in a row which is also a new team record. The Mighty Macs (10-5, 7-2 CSAC) will host the No. 6 seed Notre Dame on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Draper Walsh Stadium in the CSAC Quarterfinals.
The Macs set a season-high with 11 goal scorers on the afternoon as they got contributions from all over the field. Junior
Allison Jakavick led with four goals and one assist, while junior
Kelly Lapp had seven points overall to move into second on the all-time list, with two goals and five assists. Senior
Danielle Lopez (two assists), senior
Alyssa Petito (one assist), and junior
Meredith Katona each scored a pair of goals. The Mighty Macs got single goals from junior
Shannon Neill, freshman
Rosemarie Reitman, freshman
Hannah Verrecchia, freshman

Mackie Fitzgerald in Immaculata's most balanced effort of the year.
Lopez led the team with five groundballs and four caused turnovers, and sophomore
Christine McIntyre got her 10
th win of the season in goal with four saves.
As they have each of the past four games, the Mighty Macs took control of the game early by scoring the first 11 goals. Lopez got things started 2:28 into the game, and Petito, Lapp, Jakavick, and Verrecchia followed before Lopez closed out the opening 10 minutes with Immaculata leading 6-0. Lapp scored her second of the game, followed by goals from Reitman, Jakavick, Neill, and Jakavick finished off the great start for IU with her third of the half to put it at 11-0.
After Cedar Crest scored their only goal of the first half, Katona and Whaley got in the mix with goals to send the Mighty Macs to the locker room with a 13-1 lead.
In the second half, Fitzgerald, Jakavick, Katona, and Petito all scored in the first 20 minutes to give the Mighty Macs their largest lead of the game at 17-3. Dominick scored the final goal of the game to make it an 18-6 final.
IU will now have a week to prepare for their CSAC Quarterfinal matchup with the Gators next Saturday, their third straight season of hosting a playoff game.
NOTES: Immaculata has not trailed in a game for 300 consecutive minutes.
