Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's lacrosse team secured a 17-6 victory against Neumann University in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The Mighty Macs improve to 4-9 overall and 3-3 in the CSAC, while the Knights drop to 0-13, 0-6 CSAC.

Mike Reardon led Immaculata with eight points in the game on three goals and five assists, while
Doug Hughes amassed three goals and four assists.
Ben Lerario racked up a team-best four goals.
Brendan Doyle finished with two goals and two assists,
Samuel Zingaro had two goals and one assist, and
Tyler Black added two goals.
John Abruzzo scored his first goal as a Mighty Mac.

Kyle Roche dominated on face-offs, winning 17 of 24 attempts for the Mighty Macs. He also led the hosts picking up eight ground balls. Joe Sullivan collected six ground balls and caused a team-high four turnovers, and Abruzzo also scooped up six ground balls.

The Mighty Macs wasted no time getting on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal by Reardon just 50 seconds into the contest. Immaculata would lead, 4-0, at the first quarter as Hughes, Reardon and Doyle all scored during the final 7:26.

Immaculata would make it 8-0 after Hughes, Reardon, Lerario and Zingaro all found the back of the net during the opening seven minutes of the second quarter.

Neumann didn't get on the board until 1:47 to play before halftime, but the Knights scored twice in less than a minute to cut the margin to 9-2 at halftime.

Black broke up Neumann's scoring with an IU goal with 1:07 remaining in the opening half.

After three more Immaculata goals (Lerario, Black and Abrruzzo) to make the score 12-3, it appeared the hosts were in control with 8:02 left in the third quarter. Neumann made a three-goal run in the final 4:07 of the third frame to cut its deficit to just six (12-6) with a final quarter remaining.

However, the Mighty Macs were able to keep the Knights at a distance with five goals in the fourth quarter.

Immaculata plays its final regular season game on Wednesday, April 22, hosting Cabrini College on what will be Senior Day at Draper Walsh Stadium beginning at 4 p.m.
