Box Score 2 ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Immaculata University softball boosted its Colonial States Athletic (CSAC) record to 9-5 after it swept host Cedar Crest College on Wednesday afternoon, 12-7 and 11-6. The Mighty Macs have now won four games in a row.

Melissa Ejk went 5-for-10 with five RBIs and scored four runs for the Mighty Macs in the doubleheader.
Caitlyn Hudock also went 5-for-9 to lead the Mighty Macs in hits.
Annemarie Bartow scattered four hits and drove in four runs.

Immaculata (9-15) played from behind after Cedar Crest scored three runs in the first. The Mighty Macs got two runs back in the third as
Christiana Donofry scored as Ejk reached base, and Ejk came around to score when Bartow tripled.

The Mighty Macs then tied the game with one run in the fourth when
Paige Hughes had a RBI double to plate Hudock.

Immaculata took the lead (6-3) in the fifth when
Kelsey Collevechio hit a two-RBI double that scored Ejk and Bartow, and Collevechio later scored on a throwing error when
Caitlin Brasier stole second.
Â
Cedar Crest chipped away with one run in the fifth before scoring three runs in the sixth to regain the lead, 7-6.

The Mighty Macs started the seventh loading the bases with singles by Hoduck and Hughes and Brasier reaching on the error.
Tabitha Mulholland then drove in the tying run with a ground out to second base. Donofry then singled to again load the bases, and
Brittany Merkle hit a sacrifice fly to left field to score Brasier for the winning run. Ejk and Bartow then followed with RBI singles for the ninth and 10th run of the game. The Mighty Macs' 11th run scored on an error and Bartow stole home to cap the scoring.

Brasier pitched six innings allowing six earned runs on 13 hits.
Meghan Kugler pitched the seventh inning allowing one hit.

In the nightcap, Cedar Crest again took the lead in the first with one run.

Immaculata got on the scoreboard in the third scoring two runs all with two outs. Merkle walked, Ejk singled and Bartow reached on an error to bring Merkle around to score the first run. Ejk then scored on a passed ball.

The Falcons tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the third pushing across their second run.

The Mighty Macs broke out with four runs in the fourth highlighted by Ejk's three-run double that scored
Angelina Welch, Donofry and Merkle. Merkle got on-base with a walk that scored the first run of the inning.

Merkle's walk in the fifth again brought in a run to score as Immaculata now led, 7-2. Â Â

Cedar Crest scored twice in the bottom half of the inning to make it 7-4 after five innings.

Bartow hit her seventh home run of the season to lead-off the sixth for the Mighty Macs. Hudock later had a RBI single, and
Lauren Penn had a RBI double to score two more runs. Welch's RBI single drove in the final run of the game for Immaculata.

Cedar Crest got two runs back in its half of the sixth, and the game was called after that.

Kugler tossed all six innings scattering 15 hits and allowing six runs, all earned, while striking out two batters.
